Do not send case records through this site

This site does not accept protected health information, medical records, itemized bills, case files or privileged material. The contact form is for initial business contact only. Records are exchanged after an engagement agreement and, where applicable, a Business Associate Agreement are in place, and only through the secure channel we provide for that purpose.

If confidential material reaches us through this site anyway, we will delete it and will not use it.

An enquiry is also not confidential in the legal sense. We take work from whoever sends it, we run no conflict check on an unsolicited message, and we may already be or may later become retained by a party adverse to you. Please read the corresponding section of our Terms of Use before you describe a matter to us.

Information we collect

Information you give us

If you submit our contact form, we collect the name, company and email address you provide, and a phone number if you choose to add one. We use it solely to respond to your enquiry and to follow up about a possible engagement.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics. We use our own first-party analytics to measure how visitors use this site, such as which pages are viewed, how far visitors scroll, and which links and buttons they click. It stores a random, anonymous identifier in your browser rather than a tracking cookie. It holds no name, email or other personal information, is never shared with third parties, and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it.
• Server logs. Our infrastructure records standard request metadata, such as IP address and user agent, to operate and secure the site.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The site uses only the minimal browser storage required for security, basic operation and anonymous usage measurement of this site.

How we use information

• To respond to your enquiry and communicate with you about our services.
• To operate, maintain and secure the website.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information, we do not use it for third-party advertising, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence models.

Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run the site, under contractual confidentiality obligations:

• Cloudflare: website hosting and content delivery.
• Amazon Web Services (SES): delivers your contact-form submission to our inbox.

We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.

These providers are located in the United States, so information you submit may be processed in the U.S. Where EU or UK data protection law applies, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses.

Data retention

We keep contact-form enquiries only as long as needed to respond and to maintain our business relationship with you, after which we delete them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner. Retention of case records under an engagement is governed by the engagement agreement and the Business Associate Agreement for that matter.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you have given us. Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, you also have rights to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. Residents of California and other U.S. states with comparable laws have rights of access and deletion, and we do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it. Security

Information submitted through this site travels over an encrypted connection and is held encrypted. Access is limited to the people who need it, under named accounts. The site itself serves a strict content security policy and stores no personal information in the browser. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.

Children

This site is intended for attorneys and businesses and is not directed to children under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
